Casey + Amber = Getting Married!

This is Casey and Amber and according to the equation above they are getting married…this coming June in fact. I feel very privileged to be photographing for them. Jeremy + Jessica :::: Engaged!

Jeremy and Jessica are getting married next year! Yeh!! They wanted to get some of their images taken at ECU because that is where they met. I am excited for them because I know they have a lot of fun things ahead!

Brian + Heather

Back in September I got together with Brian and Heather for an engagement session. I am very much looking forward to getting together again with Heather for her Bridal portraits and am really excited about photographing their wedding at the Carolina Inn next year. Normally I am supposed to make my clients laugh, but Brian kept us laughing instead. Here are a few from their session…

Bryan + Jessica

This is Bryan and Jessica! They are getting married next May! I met up with Bryan and Jessica at Holden Beach for some picture time. I was back at my old old stopping grounds. I used to live within walking distance of this pier. That was quite a while ago. Anway, we were really fortunate that it got a bit cooler before we started, because it had been super hot that weekend. One of the things I kept on noticing while I was editing was Jessica’s eyes. They are such a pretty color and she has long eyelashes to boot! Very pretty!! Well, here are some of my favs from the day: And I’m not sure what is going on with my pics, but they look a bit washed out??? Never happened until just a few days ago on the blog. I’m working on fixing that!

Brian + Jessica

Yeh! I mentioned in an earlier post how much fun these guys are to photograph. They kept me laughing throughout the shoot and then I got to laugh again when I went through and edited them. I love the facial expressions! I am looking forward to their wedding in December! Here are some of my favorites:

Brian + Jessica…just a peak

Last Saturday I met up with Brian + Jessica for an engagement session. They are getting married this December and after doing their e-session I am very much looking forward to the wedding. These guys are a lot of fun. We had fun exploring the woods and defending ourselves from the ticks and spiders out in the great outdoors of NC. I definitely learned that when you plan on doing a shoot in deep woods it is a good idea to use bug spray…the best you can find. It was great fun…these guys were so natural and fun to work with. Thanks guys…more to come.

: Jason + Tiffany :

Last weekend, I met up with Jason and Tiffany for an engagement session. The weather was beautiful and I am so happy that we are finally getting some warm weather. 

I have been doing something “Save the Date-ish” for every couple for a while now, so I had a great time getting carried away with this one. It was fun!

Playing around with color a bit, any thoughts??

Okay, so we were about to end our session and we were walking back to the car. I turned around and saw how pretty the sky was and asked them if they minded if I take just a few more. If my husband read this right now, he would laugh, because really when I say a few more it ends up being like 30 or 50 more. Well, I really liked the colors when we were there, but got to editing and I really liked the strong contrast, gritty feeling of the black and white, so I am including one in color and one in bw….any thoughts about which one is stronger??

Josh + Ericka

Yep, they are getting married. I would tell you the date, but I think that is going to be obvious with the baseball pics. So, I must explain. Josh is an assistant coach for UNCW’s baseball team. They are going to have baseball elements at their wedding, so we thought it would be a good idea to carry the theme through the engagement session. I had quite a bit of fun with it. These guys were really great. I mean, they put up with me for an evening so they must be great right. I really did have a lot of fun! Thanks for coming up guys!
