I would say coming soon…but he’s here!
October 28, 2009
I heard a few days ago that Henry and Allison, had their baby boy, Tripp! I guess he was ready to get here because he was a few weeks early. I haven’t see pictures of him yet, but can’t wait to see the little fella. We got together just in time to commemorate the belly! P.S. I LOVE Allison’s shoes.

Coming Soon!

Lindsey:
I had the pleasure of photographing Lindsey this weekend. She’s a Senior this year, which means she has lots of exciting things in store for her! She did such a great job during her photo session and we all had a great time! I have to say thanks to my assistant Heather, it was quite windy out there…so she got the difficult job of holding the lights. Here is just a sneak peak of what is to come:
Brian & Heather:
A few weeks ago I also got together with Heather and Brian. We had a really great time and I am definitely looking forward to photographing their wedding next year at the Carolina Inn. Here is a little peak at their session:
Fall Sale:
Keep your eyes open for the fall specials I will be posting later this week!
Greenville NC Strobist
August 5, 2009
Flickr is a great way to meet photographers and find lots of great imagery. It is also another way to share your work. I have started a group on Flickr for Greenville NC area Strobist users. I would love for it to be a group where we can share our flash techniques and a place to connect with other photographers. You don’t have to live in Greenville NC to be a member, just a flash photography user. So, check it out…there are two lonely members who would love some company. Click HERE to find us on flickr or use this link: http://www.flickr.com/groups/greenvillestrobist/. If you aren’t a flickr user you will have to sign up to join the group. I have really enjoyed being a flickr member, it has been a great resource!
Coalesce Workshop Updates
June 9, 2009
I have some new information for the Coalesce Workshop. I am excited to announce that Loktah will be giving all my workshop attendees a 15% off coupon towards their first Loktah purchase! I have ordered the “Mystery” Disk Cases to hold the disks the workshop attendees will be receiving. They are much more fun than a boring white envelope or boring DVD case! So, thanks Loktah! Be sure to visit Loktah.com to check out their great products.

Also, I have been working hard on a design disk called Design Pile that can be used by photographers for albums, prints, and their products. This first volume will be packed full of image collages, new textures, new borders, and some new video tutorials. I am working on the finishing touches for the design disk, but hope to have it for sale for everyone very soon. The disk will be on sale for the Workshop attendees at a discounted price of $50 (It will normally sell for $75).

Here are just a few sneak previews of what types of design materials will be available on Design Pile:

I frequent Kelly Moore’s blog. She is a photographer out of LA and is awesome! She has a post about a recipe contest so I thought I would give it a go. I tried to think of an easy recipe that everyone likes and aha…the Chocolate Chip Cheeseball recipe. It sounds weird, but it is yummy goodness. Everytime I take it to a party someone asks for the recipe. I don’t know if it counts or not….but there is actually no cooking or baking involved. So, here it goes:
Ingredients:
1 -80z. package of Cream Cheese (softened)
2 -tbl. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter (real butter!- softened)
1/4 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. powdered sugar
3/4 cup semi sweet mini chocolate chips (sometimes I use more because I love chocolate)
Then you use graham crackers – either honey or chocolate for spreading.
Instructions:
In a medium bowl mix together cream cheese, brown sugar, butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar until nice a creamy. Then stir in chocolate chips. Spread out a piece of plastic wrap. Spoon mix onto plastic wrap, then use plastic wrap to form mix into a ball. Refrigerate (to harden mix) then serve with graham crackers. You can chop up some nuts and spread on top of cheese ball if you like. That’s it – no baking or cooking involved!

New Disk Folios
March 17, 2009
Just wanted to share these fun things. I received my first Disk Folio from Loktah . They have some pretty awesome stuff. I am definitely a lover of natural materials. I wanted to share these pics before I have to part with this folio to give it to a bride and groom. I am sure I will be ordering different designs in the future!! I got a little carried away photographing it. Oh yeah, tuesday tip is on its way (hopefully on tuesday, which is today, I know)
